How fast does a track get into the Beatport Top 100?

In lighter genres a track usually enters the Top 100 within 1 to 2 days. In most other genres it takes 2 to 3 days. We start within 24 hours of receiving your order.

Lighter genres. Dubstep, Deep Dubstep / Grime, Breaks / Breakbeat / UK Bass and Psy-Trance. Fewer releases compete for the same hundred places, so a track gets in faster and the campaign costs less, from $350.
Most genres. Trance, Indie Dance, Bass House, Drum & Bass and the rest of the list. Expect 2 to 3 days to enter the chart.
Crowded genres. House and Afro House. Big labels release there every week, so many more factors affect the position. That is why these genres cost the most.

If your track does not make the Top 100, we refund the order. In our years of running Beatport campaigns this has happened very rarely.

How the campaigns work

Every campaign runs on paid Google ads shown to people who already buy music on Beatport. We keep testing these campaigns on tracks by unknown artists to check that they still bring results.

Two routes to the top of your genre

There are two ways a track gets to the top of its genre, and the right one depends on how crowded the genre is.

Straight into the genre Top 100. Works for lighter genres and most of the list. Once the track is in, Beatport Daily Push keeps it moving up day by day.
Through the Hype Chart first. For crowded genres, a track on a smaller label can start in the Beatport Hype Chart, where competition is lower. Daily Push then carries it from Hype toward the main genre chart.

Releasing an EP rather than a single? Beatport Top 100 Releases ranks the whole release, priced by the number of tracks, from 2 to 6.

How long does a track stay in the Top 100?

Beatport only counts sales from the last 7 days. Older purchases drop out of the calculation, so a position you reach this week has to be held next week. That is the job of Daily Push.
