How Much Do YouTube Ads Cost for a Music Video in 2026?

How Much Do YouTube Ads Cost for a Music Video in 2026?

A YouTube ad campaign for a music video starts at $99 at Artist Push. For that price, our campaign calculator estimates 4,000–6,000 views worldwide, or 1,800–2,900 if you target the US, UK, Canada and Australia. The numbers in this article come from that calculator. They cover four budgets and two audience options.

Each campaign runs on Google's own ad system and targets viewers aged 18 to 44. Our team sets it up, runs it for two to three weeks and sends you a PDF report at the end. You can build one in a few clicks on the YouTube ads campaign page.

What each budget gets you

The table shows the estimate for each package from the calculator on the product page. The prices match the packages on the site.

Budget Worldwide US, UK, Canada, Australia
$99 4,000–6,000 1,800–2,900
$179 12,000–19,000 5,000–8,000
$449 35,000–55,000 15,000–25,000
$999 90,000–150,000 40,000–65,000

A bigger budget also lowers the price of each view. At $99, a worldwide view costs about 2.5 cents at the low end of the estimate. At $999, it drops to about 1.1 cents. For the US, UK, Canada and Australia, the same step takes a view from about 5.5 cents to about 2.5 cents.

YouTube ads for a music video: 4,000 to 6,000 views worldwide for $99, about 2 to 2.4 times more views worldwide than in the US, UK, Canada and Australia

Why worldwide brings more than twice the views of the US

The US, UK, Canada and Australia are the most expensive audiences in our calculator. With the same budget, a worldwide campaign gets about 2 to 2.4 times more views than one aimed at these four countries. The gap holds at every budget, from $99 to $999.

So pick the market by what the release needs. If you want the biggest count on a new video, go worldwide. If you plan US shows or pitch US playlists and radio, the smaller US number may matter more. The campaign builder also lets you type in your own list of countries.

What changes the final number

The estimates assume targeting by country and age only.

  • Targeting. Adding a genre, interests or similar artists narrows the audience, so the same budget brings fewer views. Those views go to people closer to your music.
  • The first 15 seconds. Viewers can skip an ad after a few seconds. A video that opens with the hook, the drop or the chorus keeps more of them watching.
  • Google's review. Every ad passes Google's check, which usually takes 2 to 3 hours and rarely up to 48. If Google rejects your video, we try another one of yours and refund you in full if that fails too.

If you want a narrow audience, the table no longer fits your campaign. Tell our team in the brief, and we will send you a new estimate before launch.

Which budget fits your release

The $99 budget works as a test. The $179 budget fits a single release that needs a visible start in its first weeks.

The $449 and $999 budgets suit a focus track, a premiere or an album launch. At these levels, the count moves into tens of thousands of views even in the US.

How the campaign works

The whole process fits in about a month. Here is what happens after checkout.

  1. You paste the video link and pick a budget and market. We email a short brief about genre, similar artists and countries.
  2. Our team builds the campaign within 3 business days of getting the brief.
  3. Google reviews the ad, usually within 2 to 3 hours.
  4. The campaign runs for two to three weeks.
  5. You get a PDF report with the views and the countries they came from.

Views from the campaign show up in your YouTube Analytics under the source "YouTube advertising", apart from organic traffic. We never ask for your password, only the public link to the video. To see the forecast for your budget and market, open the YouTube ads campaign builder.

Häufige Fragen

How much does it cost to advertise a music video on YouTube?

At Artist Push, a managed YouTube ad campaign starts at $99. The other packages cost $179, $449 and $999. The price covers the whole campaign, from setup to the PDF report.

How many views do I get for $99?

Our calculator estimates 4,000–6,000 views worldwide for a $99 campaign. For the US, UK, Canada and Australia, the estimate is 1,800–2,900 views. The final count depends on your video, your genre and the targeting.

Why do US views cost more than worldwide views?

The US, UK, Canada and Australia are the most expensive audiences in our calculator. The same budget brings about 2 to 2.4 times more views worldwide. Pick these markets when the release depends on fans, shows or playlists there.

Can I target a genre or similar artists?

Yes. You can add a genre, interests and up to three similar artists in the brief. A narrower audience brings fewer views for the same money, so our team sends you a new estimate before launch.

Setup takes up to 3 business days after we get your brief. Google usually reviews the ad within 2 to 3 hours. The campaign then runs for two to three weeks, and the whole process fits in about a month.

What happens if Google rejects my music video?

We first try again with another video of yours. If that one does not pass either, you get a full refund.

Do I need my own Google Ads account or give you my password?

No. Our team runs the campaign from the Artist Push Google Ads account. You only send the public link to your video.
